4Drive Vietnam operates as a booking platform connecting travelers with local vehicle suppliers across Vietnam. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you submit a booking inquiry through our forms, we collect your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, and pickup location. This data is necessary to match your request with a suitable supplier and coordinate your reservation. We do not store payment card details - advance payments are processed by third-party payment gateways, and any deposit arrangements happen directly at the supplier counter.
Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and analyze traffic patterns. Google Analytics tracks page visits, session duration, and geographic origin of users. These tools help us understand which destinations and vehicle types generate the most interest. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site functions may become limited.
The booking widget embedded on our pages is operated by a third-party reservation system. When you interact with that widget, data passes through their infrastructure under their own privacy terms. We share your inquiry details with the local supplier assigned to your booking - they need your contact information and travel plan to prepare the vehicle and send the voucher. Suppliers operate independently and handle your data according to Vietnamese regulations.
Contact details go into our CRM to manage your booking from inquiry to vehicle return. We may send you a confirmation email, pre-arrival reminders about IDP requirements or pickup instructions at Cam Ranh International, and a post-trip feedback request. We do not sell or rent your information to marketers. Emails from rent@4drivevietnam.com are transactional or directly related to your reservation.
Our server logs and booking records are stored on secure hosting infrastructure with encrypted backups. We retain inquiry data for one year after your travel date to handle potential disputes or repeat bookings. If you request deletion, we will remove your details from active systems within thirty days, though financial records may be retained longer to comply with Vietnamese accounting laws.
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or request deletion by emailing rent@4drivevietnam.com. Include your booking reference or the email address used for your inquiry. We will respond within fourteen days.
